Champion Illusionist® Wayne Alan's anti-tobacco magic show called Make Smoking Disappear®
was produced with the cooperation of The American Cancer Society.
Many entertaining magical effects and illusions are featured in the
show, but the students also learn some hard medical facts and statistics.
Mr.
Alan convinces young people not to start smoking, and to quit if they
already smoke. Audience
members are invited up on stage and become the “stars” of the show.
It is an educational as well as entertaining program designed to
teach young people why they should not smoke.
The harmful effects of smoking, as well as the many benefits gained
from not “lighting up” are demonstrated by numerous illusions.
There are versions of the show for elementary, middle and high schools.

appearances on national TV have included Entertainment Tonight, MTV, where
he magically produced recording and movie star Will Smith, Inside Edition,
Good Morning America, ABC, NBC and CBS Network News programs.
He’s also appeared with Oprah Winfrey, Larry King and Maury
Povich as well as seven times at the White House, most recently for
President Bush. He serves on the board of
Smoke Free Maryland.
